WILLIAM KAMKWAMBA'S STORY



William kamkwamba's from Malawi. There, people are poor. Malawi has got 60 families and william's family are 20 persons more or less.

When he was young he dropped out school because his parents didn't have got enough money.
Then, William started to work in the fields. In Malawi, most of people depened on farming, specially they grow tobacco.

William built the first windmills in Malawi. This give  electricity in the houses.
After years, William went to California and there he visited the big wind farm.

In september 2008, William joined the inaugural class of the African leadership Academy in Johannesburg, the first pan-African preparatory school.
