CAESAR SALAD

2 large heads of lettuce
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
6 or 8 anchovies
2 boiled eggs
1/2 cups garlic croutons

1. Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces
2. Put the garlic and oil in jar. Cover and shake well.
3. Put the lettuce in a large salad bowl and the rest of the ingredients into individual bowls.
4. Grind the pepper over the lettuce leaves with a pepper mill.
5. Pour the oil on the lettuce leaves and mix well.
6. Sprinkle some salt.
7. Add the lemon, Parmesan cheese, anchovy fillets.
8. If you are using boild eggs break them into the salad.
9. Add the croutons, toss and serve.
